CHAMPION—
THE NO PERMISSION COLLECTION

Some of the most iconic streetwear brands like Pyrex, Supreme, KITH, and Bape got their start on Champion blanks—without permission. Instead of suing these brands for copyright infringement, Champion supported and later partnered with them.

To celebrate this defiant spirit, we curated an exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum and created a film to inspire a new generation of creatives with a global rallying cry—you don’t need permission to make your mark.

THE NO PERMISSION COLLECTION EXHIBIT
@ BROOKLYN MUSEUM - MAY 07, 2024

For one night only, the collection was on display at the Brooklyn Museum featuring early Supreme, Kith, Pyrex, and Bape designs on Champion blanks, as well as one of one pieces designed by creators who are making a mark on the world today.

Next Generation Creators that embodied our No Permission ethos showcased their one-of-a-kind Champion hoodies made for the event. Each piece,a testament to how artists create, on their own terms.

An interactive art piece in the center of the exhibit featuring hundreds of Champion hoodies dared attendees to take one (without permission) and make their mark at creator stations.
